As always, we do a thorough set-up on each guitar before it goes out the door. And we invite you to stop back with your guitar after a couple of months. If your guitar needs a bit more tweaking after it’s been out in the real world, we’ll take care of it.
has introduced their PCH1 series (“Pacific Coast Highway 1”) of guitars, which we are pretty hard to beat, especially for the $239 price. Models with cutaways and pickup systems are $279. Three body styles are available: Dreadnoughts, OMs, and Grand Auditoriums. The Grand Auditoriums come with cutaways and pickups. Models come in either natural or classic finishes. These guitars all feature solid Sitka spruce tops with mahogany backs and sides. We have a selection of gig bags and hard shell cases available for them.

has brought out their “Archback” series of affordable guitars as part of their Westerly Collection. Models start just under $400. All include solid Sitka spruce tops, pickups and gig bags. They offer a good variety of body styles ranging from a “Junior Jumbo” to a concert size guitar. Archback construction is a time-honored approach to building that Guild has been using since the 1960s.
