Bourgeois Guitars

Dana Bourgeois began building guitars over 35 years
ago (I have fond memories of visiting his shop along the coast of
Maine in 1984 or so). Since then, Bourgeois Guitars have become widely known and extremely well respected. The Bourgeois shop is fairly small, but nevertheless offers an enticing selection of body styles coupled with premium woods. Bourgeois guitars have a strong and loyal following among contemporary players as well as traditionalists.

Bourgeois JOM Custom
Jumbo OM model in new tonewood: Adirondack Spruce and Santos Rosewood. Dana Bourgeois describes Santos rosewood as moderately dense and ring-y, with the characteristic highs and lows players expect of a rosewood guitar. The rosewood in this particular guitar is quartersawn and close grained throughout the entire back. Other specs: 14 fret neck, 25-1/2" scale, 1-23/32" at nut, *sunburst finished top,* koa body binding, fossil ivory inlay, Waverly Gold tuners with snakewood buttons, DB Signature herringbone around soundboard and backstrip. This guitar was built for the 2012 NAMM show.

Jumbo OM model with cutaway, European spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, body measures 15-5/8" across lower bout and 4-3/4" deep, 25-1/2" scale length, 1-3/4" width at nut, square headstock.
