Dell'Arte
Guitars are made in California under the direction of Alain Cola and luthier John Kinnard. Dell'Arte is known primarily for building Maccaferri and Selmer style guitars (discussed below, under Jazz Guitars), but they also offer a variety of flattop guitar models. Most of these are their take on classic body styles: dreadnought, slope-shouldered dreadnought, and OM body styles. Taking the classic idea a bit further, they also came out with a reproduction of an early Stella 12-string. Dell'Arte's Leadbelly Style 12-string uses a 26-1/2" scale length and is tuned down to low C for a particularly growly sound.
