Made in Chicago by Stromberg Voisinet, spruce top, birch back and sides, multicolored wood marquetry around top, back and soundhole, slightly shaded brown finish. Sunburst mahogany finish, wood bound top & back, square neck, screen holes, sound well, solid peghead. Exceptionally fine original condition, this guitar appears to have been played a few times then put under the bed where it has remained for the last 70 years. The nickel plating on all hardware is bright and untarnished, with only very slight signs of picking on the coverplate, with the original chipboard case in similar condition. $2250

Plating in very good condition except for a couple of small spots on side, appears to have an old repaired heel crack below the dowel that does not affect the neck angle, straight neck and good action, old DeArmond pickup (sounds good!) mounted between fingerboard and coverplate.
