Michael Kelly Mandolins are decently made, good sounding and affordable f-style mandolins. They feature carved solid spruce soundboards, solid maple back & sides, dovetail neckjoints, scooped fingerboard extensions and Grover tuners. Some models also have radiused fingerboards or Fishman pickups. Instruments are available in a number of different finishes. List prices range from $595 to $1095 and have a 2 year warranty. These are the first f-style mandolins we've seen in this price range that have impressed us for construction, playability and tone. A models are also available on occasion.
