The Eastman MD305 Mandolin is the most affordable, easy to recommend instrument in the lineup. It is distinctly better built than the typical “starter” mandolin. It features all solid construction that is carved (not pressed) into shape. This gives the instrument a better tone as well as better structural stability for the long haul.
