Violin Family Instruments

Updated May 13, 2008

shop violins

Here's a description of what's involved in the process of setting up a violin. Yes, we do a lot of set-up work on violins here, along with more extensive repair work.

All of our violins are set up here in our shop. Most violins are strung with D'Addario Pro-Arte strings, but a few have Dominants, D'Addario Zyex or Evah Pirazzi.

For those of you who are visiting this page while researching that Stradivarius in your possession, please read our comments on Strad label violins.
