All violins are set up in our shop. Here's a description of what's involved.

We also offer repair services for customer instruments.

Good German violin, medium grained spruce top, two piece back with strong narrow curl ascending from the center joint, matching ribs, light brown varnish over a golden ground. $6000

Fine grained spruce top, two piece back of strong narrow flame ascending from the center joint, ribs of slightly wider flame, good red/brown varnish. Three small crack repairs, well done, some edge and corner wear. $5800

E. H. Berlin
Branded "Special E. H. Berlin" inside the back and also branded "E. H." below the end pin. A good German shop violin probably made for the dealer Emil Herrmann. Fine to medium grained spruce top, nicely flamed two piece back, ribs of matching wood, good red/brown varnish lightly shaded and antiqued. $5000
